"I blame myself for not having a good birth, I feel a failure..."

Fathers suffer trauma too!

I am an undergraduate student on a Psychology BSc degree at Bournemouth University. I am looking for participants aged over 18 to complete an online study looking into the experiences of fathers who have witnessed a traumatic birth and their experiences of support they may have received.

Birth trauma is a broad area, but in this particular study, it is defined as distress that occurs after childbirth (particularly where there have been difficulties with the birth).

Participation will take approximately 30-45 minutes and you will be asked a number of questions about your experiences. We hope that the information that you provide might help inform practice and training.

If you would like to know more about the study and participate, please click the link below:

Or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me:

Emily Daniels, at i7710962@bournemouth.ac.uk

Thank you
